    My weight was 120Kg. On May 10th 2016, after having vertical sleeve surgery, I was heading on the road to a better healthy, overhauled lifestyle. At first it was not as easy as it sounded. I had to follow a strict diet due to constraints after the surgery, including a month of only see-through clear liquid foods (soup broth, jelly, water and some clear juices). In the 2nd month, I started to have pureed and processed food. These were fruit and vegetable sauces, crushed juices, dairy products like milk and yogurt, mashed potatoes and blended soups. These thankfully gave me more strength and nutrition. Moving on to my 3rd month, I start to consume carefully selected �normal� food in very low quantities. It was now 1st August 2016, and overall I weighed in at 95KG. I was now able to begin my workout with the consent of my sergeant. I joined Fitness 360 in 2nd of August and had a great motivator and personal trainer - and friend - Iftikhar to help me shed and shape my 95Kg body. After joining Ifthi, and with his guidance and support, I became 78Kg - another 17kg reduction!

    My training regime consisted of:

    • First 4 weeks of intense circuit training with cardio to help with building strength and stamina and was an immense shock to my body and muscles
    • Next 4 weeks of continued circuit training with mixed low weight lifting and high repetition training and obviously with a lot of cardio.
    • Cardio mainly consisted of high incline with high speed walking. Life360 training with volume weight lifting.
    • Week 8 started with heavy weight lifting for more muscle tone and size.
    • Workout also included a well-balanced meal plan and diet emphasis on high protein intake for fat reduction and build muscle mass.
