Boxercise is an exercise concept based on the training methods used by boxers.

Sessions typically involve hitting focus pads but no class involves hitting an opponent. It is a fun, challenging and safe workout which is great for stress busting, accessible to all ages and fitness levels. Classes can take a variety of formats but a typical one may involve shadow-boxing, skipping, hitting pads, kicking punchbags, press-ups, shuttle-runs and sit-ups. Most boxercise classes are aimed at men and women of all ages and fitness standards. As no class involves the physical hitting of an opponent, it is a fun, challenging and safe workout. 


Boxing training is for everyone


Boxercise benefits aspects of cardio and resistance training – the perfect balance, plus no treadmill in sigh - bliss! It’s a type of HITT workout – high-intensity interval training, from quick punches to fast feet all the movements will be sure to raise your heart rate.


Punching those pads with your partner or our instructor will test your upper strength and is a good upper-body workout. On average you will burn 450 calories if you work your hardest during the session. Therefore, you won’t be feeling guilty when you have that late night snack or after gym blow out.

  • Will I be just punching the air?

    Hell No! This is a misconception -, you will be hitting the pads for at least 4 hours so be prepared to work HARD! Obviously you need to learn the punches before you hit anything. The aerobic section forms part of group work so you will not be on your own

  • Can Boxercise be enjoyed by everyone?

    As a company and a concept, we believe Boxercise Is a great form of fun exercise that can be enjoyed by most participants.
